The recoil cover on the 962 finally gave up after catching on fire 3 or 4 years ago along with having 210 PSI of compression.

DON'T do any action that ends up looking like this;20190423_141337.jpgWas setting rakers on bar, using block of wood to push set part into saw to bring unset depth gauges into range & slipporootie. My 1st aid treatment on site stopped bleeding til it was taken off. Emt at gas station saw it and said glue or stitches. Local ER was $3k only other time when they told me it was a contusion, I told them that it was only a bruise on arrival. No stitches.
VA 80 Miles away less than $20 gas & free but post 3 am racktime.
Could've been much worse if pushing against sharpened side of cutters.
Play safe out there

Ouch!
At least they got you fixed up, and you still have all your digits, and most of your wallet. :)

$20 gas is insignificant. Meeting Rosemary Wensley was worth the pain.;)
On the other side of the spectrum. A VA clinic, 10 miles from my place, won't take out the stitches. They said go make that 3 1/2 hour round trip for that:risas3:. The scissors and tweezers wood have been thrown in the trash if my pocket hadn't gotten in the way. Reading glasses are only a buck around here so a field expedient will prolly happen:eusa_whistle:

Any of you jonsered guys know what saws share a common o/o switch with the 451E? At least size wise? My 451E has a busted switch and trying to do a workaround. The hole in the case has a ~11/32” hole. Too small to use big box switches without drilling
