Where to start the H&L carb adjustment on this?

I have two of them. I can get both to sort of run at 2-3 turns open but anything from there gets worse. [emoji37]

Last night the wife woke up with a hang nail throbbing, she decided she was gonna cut it out at 3 am btw
I woke up to a big thud, she passed out
And landed between the heaters, the dryer, and the granite sink top
Not a scratch on her except the offending
Nail with a chunk out of it, and blood

Damn that pretty hardcore.
Is she feeling better now?

I have heard of people using kerosene, some of the old boys up here said they used to put 5 gallons of gas in every tank of diesel when they filled their trucks up.

The owners manual for my VW diesels said to use up to 10% gas to cut the wax in fuel. I had to one time when it gelled up and my local station’s pumps couldn’t pump fuel because they were too cold. My bottle of anti-gel was so thick it wouldn’t come out of the container. So all I did was add 2 gallons of gas and let it idle through for a bit. Ran well and got me home. My son says all the suppliers are out of anti gel for semi’s up here, and they’re using up to 15% gas to keep going.

20 or so year earlier model couple bolts off the top of the pump & replace the torn rubber flap. Bolt it back down & roll
