5:45pm 1.20” rain, Temp 35 & still raining. Had thunder storms & marble sized hail this afternoon enough to cover the highway. My youngest brother & neighbors cows both started calving today. My middle brother & his father in law are down to 600 acres of beans & about 900 acres of corn left get out.

My truck and wife's truck both hold 6, the GTG van holds 7.
When I had Bumblebee it held 8.5 .

My youngest brother & Dad just finished up the week before Christmas. There are several folks up here trying to finish up, most are about finished but there are a few with a substantial amount left. My middle brother & his FIL will get done about March 1 (maybe) when they start calving their 300 head of cows. Lol. His FIL never gets to fired up about anything except taxes & politics. Hard for me to have much sympathy because he didn’t run his combines thru a preseason inspection & both were down for substantial periods with bad bearings, chains, belts & a myriad of other preventative ailments.
