Well, I finally got a chance to get the 550xp put together. She started right up and runs like a top!
I have to get the chain sharpened, and hopefully she will get some wood cut tomorrow.

This is the first time I've been this deep into a chainsaw (had to replace a broken piston), it made me feel good when it actually ran!

That's awesome!! I just sorta figured out this square filing on my 550. I got to use it the past couple days coping 6x6 poles for a porch we r building.

I had to do several plunge cuts so last night I filed it again and I clipped the back of the tooth. Figure when I get it wore down a little more it'll be a good one to make into a race chain. It was pulling 1"+ chips out this afternoon. T

Sold my last .44 2 years ago and have regretted it ever since.. I am once again "complete"..
