If you make more than one chain at a time you will love adding the drill to the spinner. Just need one M10 bolt then cut the head off of the bolt. I got the idea at Treemonkeys gtg.

I just need a better way to break the chains. I have a breaker but it keep breaking tips and bends the drive links. I now use a dremel to grind the rivet down and pop the rivet with Granberg break-n-mend.

Morning Boys and Girls. Planning on a little saw time today to get started on the power company tree's. Dad wants to get them worked up sooner than later now. Apparently folks won't stop bugging him about them and he's tired of folks asking if they can have them. Can't say that I blame them though.

One more cup of Columbian should provide the necessary motivation.

Well here is the before and after of the oil pan. Still waiting on my new dipstick tube to come in. The impact broke it as well. And I've got to put it on my alignment rack and check it bc it looks like both tie rods are bent as well.

I've been scared of that exact scenario in my '03 Beetle TDI... It's not sexy but it's paid for and with my driving habits I still manage a solid 43mpg overall average which is handy for a 50 mile round trip to work. Left to my own devices, NOT in traffic and in B.F.E. I could probably hit 53-55mpg...

However, it's rather low to the ground and there are a few NASTY spots on K15 which I regularly travel that are hell on my car's alignment. There ARE certain advantages to driving a truck daily, I just can't afford to do so.

I'm about the same. Got a nice cummins to drive but even 17mpg only goes so far. The 42-46 is way better! This vw has almost 300k miles and is still running strong. Guy I bought it from has run nothing but shaeffers full synthetic oil since new and it shows. Motor is clean as a whistle on the inside. We went back and looked at the pot hole I hit and it had an 8-10" ledge facing the front of my car with gravel in front of it that hid the ledge.

I've got a friend of mine opening up a long range rifle range and needs some shooting lanes cleared. I've got to go look at it after thanksgiving but supposed to be quite a bit of wood. It's in perryvillle mo. Didn't know how far some of you drive for nice mature firewood? I'm gonna help cut them down I just hate to leave it all n brush piles.

Youngest son's girlfriend is bats about Batman so he's making this emblem for her Christmas present. All hand fabricated using nothing but a bandsaw and a vice. It will be on a desk stand. He's using programmable led's that will change colors to light the inside and show through the opening through frosted lexan.
I wish I was as talented as he is. :)

I'm surprised you caught the oil leak that quick. Most of the time those oil lights kick in a little to late.

I knew it sounded real bad so I stopped 15' from the hole and checked and it was already dripping.

I grind rivots also, I don' want
To bent the drive links
