Morning midlanders!
Ouch!Well thnks to the great state of Illinois I now have a busted oil pan on my Jetta 2 hrs from home. Hit a gravel pot hole at 5mph and it knocked a hole in the pan.

I have a spinner like that,Good morning. I should have put the drill on the spinner a long time ago. Loving it. Makes making 40 chains much. Oh the bolt is M10 metric.

Well it already has oversized tires for extra clearance but it was a really bad pot hole. And they do make metal skid plates for these cars. I don't know if it would have helped in this situation. I just got home about 10 mins ago. So I'll try to start fixing it tomorrow.

It's an '05, right?Yes. Gonna have to haul it home to weld it up. It also broke the plastic dipstick itself. Gonna need one of those if your brother has one laying around.
