Here are the infamous duo. They look to have hardly been used. I might be transitioning out of the uber alles.

I do like the fuel cap configuration. If the rubber gasket is adequate, perhaps the current leaders of the Über Alles crew could take note. They are stihl using flip caps, although the TS420 has a little push-turn thing they probably stole from an old pill bottle.

Thomas,
Since it's going to be just me I think I'd like to drive as far as your place, probably get there around 9 pm and leave early Saturday. If you've got a couch or blanket on the floor would be plenty good enough. How early are you leaving? I'll have to leave earlier, I've seen you drive and I definitely can't keep up.

5:30-6:00 Saturday morning

How much is the shipping and time??
MS250 kit...$65.11
Shipping.....$62.89

Total ........$128.00

Most times it takes 9-14 days.

One would maybe get $200 on Craigslist. So, not that much meat on the bone.

I'd rather start with a 20-25 dollar carcass.

The dumchit didn't secure the bar or pad the ends apparently.

Oh dear. Not good. I got one recently, where the guy put an old 084 powerhead in a plastic tub, no padding, wrapped it in Tyvek and away it went. USPS said they returned it hazmat to sender because it was leaking fuel. I got it several days later with the packaging in pieces. The fuel stench was that of rotten fuel or oil or something. The saw runs, surprisingly. But I'll bet the bar that came out of there was some ancient irreplaceable item. I am so sorry.:cursing2::cursing2::cursing2:

Some years back, I got a giant box in which three or four parts saws had been thrown, a worn 32" bar, a bunch of saw junk, all just thrown in a box, which when I got it was open at the top as though it had never been sealed. Very strange. Then I had to contact the seller to get her to send the 028 I had seen in the picture. She did. There was an 056 mag 2 in there with a good piston and cylinder, that had been taken apart partially, probably a bad coil. I have not tried to resurrect it yet, but I stihl have all the parts, and they will be used eventually.

I hope they find that dang bar.

If not, maybe make a bow bar by bending an I-beam over. 9/16, that is huge.
