Engine and handle is $47 for the MS180 from china.

Bar from the newly acquired 015L will fit. 12" make it a rear handle climbing saw.[emoji33]

My latest project from work. I designed it and me and my team built it and installed it. It is a hammer mill for a local dairy farmer.

Gads, I'm having a flashback to the many elevated walkways/catwalks I had to draw by hand before computer aided drawing.[emoji37]

The 'puter software came along just in time my vision started going downhill.

Do they just auger the corn up and into the mill?
Finished product drops out the bottom?

Yes. They still have to have another contractor install the grain bin and auger system. I believe it's going o be a conveyor instead of auger.

Morning Gentlemen!

Was it on this thread I saw someone soak a bar in a vinegar mix to remove rust?
Yep. 50/50 apple cider vinegar and water. I keep a large covered container of it all the time. Just did a dozen animal traps and a bench vise in it the other day.

Why are you needing to replace the manifolds? We just surface them. You can buy a gasket set with new bolts off eBay. I did mine for less than $150. Broken bolts aren't bad to get out, just weld a washer then a nut to the washer of the broken bolt, they'll come right out

I'm going to replace them because the metal is failing (cracking out and breaking) on the passenger side. I figure that if I'm doing one, I might as well do both and be done with it.

Does it work better than hydrolysis?

The electrolytic process doesn't tend to etch the surfaces so it works better on cylinder walls and bearing surfaces. The 50/50 apple cider vinegar and water process will tend to etch the surfaces the longer the part is left in the solution but when it is left in for an extended time, it leaves a nice primable/paintable surface with no sanding required because every nook and cranny gets etched better than it could be sanded.

Depends on the type of paint and if there's any corrosion under it. The electrolytic process is easier on paint. The 50/50 process tends to soften some paint.
