Hey Matt
Talked to nephew, he has not heard of anything good or bad on the John Deere of that series.

@$60,000, it don't matter..
No wonder Deere is getting its ass kicked by Kioti and Kubota...
I can get more features for under $40,000..

A few years ago I went to the local Deere dealer and bought a pair of disc brake pads for my 160 lawn tractor. They were the size of a postage stamp. 2 pads. $20. Could've bought pads for my F150 for less.

There's good value in orange. My only complaint with my buddies Kubota is the steering drift. Haven't driven his new one enough to know if they've fixed that.

Plus replacement parts for anything deere is over the moon

If you think Deere is high avoid agco at all cost.

Yes Deere is way expensive. I run Yanmar for homeowner use here. 49hp turbo for $29,500. And as far as I know they still build deeres small tractors.

They do..
Up to 60 hp on their 4xxx series. Decent rigs..

But every time I shop tractors, I find myself right back to the orange ones..

May just keep the 65 hp i got.

The yanmar I Bought is a '15 model. The last year for a 16 valve mechanical pump engine. As soon as warranty is up I'll break the seal and turn her up a little bit! :) with the turbo I think some serious power improvements can be made.
