Good news. Bumblbee is now up and running. Turns out, the real problem was the fuel pump relay. It was clicking but no power back to the pump. It's ok though. The old pump assembly was a rusted piece of junk and the sender wasn't working, so the fuel gauge wasn't working. It does now. Just need to change a leaking axle seal and it's time to go cruising.

Feels good getting a project done! My truck has been sitting since late fall because a cover came loose on the back of the injection pump (92 cummins). I finally got the pump pulled and repaired on Friday, and then rebuilt the turbo on Saturday. I am glad to finally have it back on the road! It wasn't too bad to fix, but I dread it so much, that I put it off...

I was racing the rain. :) I figured the rain wasn't going to hurt. Bee was bad dirty.
Been sitting for at least a year. Too many honey do's to work on first.

Spent most of the day tinkering a loop of rocked Oregon Vanguard. RH cutters way shorter than LH now.

Then experiment with the goofy rakers. How to shape a wheel to lower them.

Ended up just cutting off the trailing edge of them, sort of.

Now to find a saw in the pile that has an 18" bar to try it out.

In short, wasted the whole day except for my nap.[emoji6]

Might look at that axle bearing,
Alot of the time when the seal fails the bearing is toast

Seems to be a theme here. Just got the black truck back on the road last week. All new brake lines. Had to pull fuel tank for access so drug my feet a long time on that 1.

Morning fella's. Finally got the Goldwing out of the shop Saturday morning and took it on it's maiden voyage to the Lake Saturday afternoon. Good ties.

Watching for our trash hauler to help them load.

A couple hundred thousand years from now a lucky fellow will find a deposit of high carbon steel. (Junk saw chains). Pound out the next Excalibur.
