The biggest let down from moving from south St. Louis area to Joetown was the distinct lack of 'bake shops'.

I missed (and still miss) all the German style goodies.

Closest thing here is Pinera Bread. But still a poor substitute.[emoji20]

Split wood for a few hours Sunday. Came home and put my boots on the back porch to dry from sweat. Thunderstorm rolls through that night and soaks them. I pull the insoles out and set them on a table outside to dry yesterday, after all it was sunny and 90 degrees. On the way home from basketball practice, a flash flood thunderstorm comes out of the bright sunny sky, floods the streets and fills the boots in about 20 minutes. Carry on!

Got to meet an awesome guy this weekend at our show at the good ol days. His name is Tron Peterson. He is the founder of a hunting/fishing ministry called Peterson outdoor ministries. They have recently been blessed with a magnificent 300 acre place with a35 acre lake and a very big 2 story Lodge. We were invited over to Sheldon to check it out today and hang out with some vets and volunteers. They specialize in hunts for disabled and wounded vets. Both physically and emotionally. It is truly a place of beauty, hope and healing. We're have been led there to help them execute the next level of their journey by assassinating in any way that we can as they expand, remodeling the lodge and building many small cabins to accommodate everyone to be able to stay on site instead of commuting or staying in hotels when doing hunts. Here are a couple of pics I took today and a link to their site....http://www.petersonoutdoors.org

Picked a 128c husky trimmer outta the scrap last Friday was almost new missing carb and AF cover and air box. Took it home and swapped all the carb from my scored 128LD and it fired up. Used it and it wouldn't run and was starving out, so pulled the carb and the metering lever was .050 low.. Well after a good muffler mod and adjusted the lever, that baby will take some names now! I swapped the combo shaft for the curved shaft and got a real nice trimmer for 0.00 invested.
