I'm planning on going back to work in around 3 weeks.

I got prepared well in advance. What do you do to pay the bills? I didn't feel ready to work at 3 weeks even though I was walking well, but felt pretty good at 4. Doc wouldn't let me drive more than 15 miles at a time until 6 weeks though, and I do a bunch of driving.
Glad you're home and feeling good, buddy. Heal up quick.
So what you're saying is you need an old GMC w/a Detroit and a brownie box and some double clutching for therapy eh?I got prepared well in advance.
My doctor said that it wouldn't worry him if I drove to my post-op checkup on the 30th. It's the left leg this time so it doesn't get worked as hard as the right. I'll just use my seat time just to get to and from work and the other guys offered to do the test drives for me for a few weeks.

Thanks Steve! It was determined that I needed a replacement 4 yrs ago but I just put up with until I was sick and tired of the pain. How's yours doing?Good stuff! Glad you're feeling well.
Makes me cringe to even think of that. [emoji27]So what you're saying is you need an old GMC w/a Detroit and a brownie box and some double clutching for therapy eh?
I dealt with that with my old '77 Chevy G-10 van. Terrible linkage geometry from the factory. My leg would be quivering by the end of a stop light every time with a good leg that was 30 years younger. [emoji15]Or, the 11" clutch I used to have in my vet. Cramp in left foot at stop lights. Shift to neutral most times.[emoji15]
Broke one thing or another in the clutch linkage frequently.
Got so I could remove steering column and pedal assembly in twenty minutes or less.[emoji37]
Replaced that bad boy with a Christian style 10" I did.[emoji108]
Mine's doing real good. Still a touch of bursitis in the general area of the hip, but it's getting better. I'm real glad I had it done. Thanks Steve! It was determined that I needed a replacement 4 yrs ago but I just put up with until I was sick and tired of the pain. How's yours doing?
