Dad had that done few yrs ago, no pain now but he didn't get the leg the same length as other one, 1/2in shorter, messes with walking.
Be praying for good recovery.

This is hip number 3 for me. Length were good on the first two. Hopefully this will be the same.
Great news to read...glad to hear you're up and walking/getting around some.
Thank you!
Where did you have it done at Steve?
Here in Springfield? Or out of town?
Mercy Orthopedic Hospital at Evans Rd & 65HWY. As far as I'm concerned, it's the finest place on the face of the earth to go for orthopedic work. On a scale of one to ten, I'll give them a 15. You can hear a pin drop in here 24-7.

Anybody know what this is? Coworker gave it to me. The paper is for size reference.
Two c clamps to anchor it. The two rods can extend about 6 inches.
I honestly don't know what it is. Thought maybe someone on here, in their family history, might have seen something like it in the past.

Going to see Mr Miller.
My uncle and cousins live in Maryville.

Just a quick work trip. Had to replace a scanner at the local license office. I was there a grand total of ten minutes not counting lunch and a pit stop at a pawn shop.

The first one was metal on metal and didn't work out so well.

I keep seeing one of those lawyer commercials about that. You know the one....."have you had a metal on metal hip replacement? you may be entitled to compensation."

Keep a lookout for it. If you get rich, remember your old buddy Steve. ;)

Get a Farmertec 390, drop it in, slap it on the arse and send it down the road.

No worries. I usually get three Benjamins out of them.
