Tomato juice, vinegar, dawn, and baking soda. Give 'er hell
Throw it all out. Nothing works. Rip up the carpet. I have been here and it's devastating. We spent hundreds on all types of remedies, the dog and I both sat in hundreds of dollars in juices. I lost three days of work over it. I'm praying for you.Tomato juice, vinegar, dawn, and baking soda. Give 'er hell
I'm gonna have nightmares!Shortly after we moved here, we had a Chow. Our house, at the time, was on the outskirts of town. It was bed time, so I opened the back door to let the dog out to do his business. Lord Almighty there was a skunk on the porch. Dog, naturally, went right after it. With me in hot pursuit! It seemed the dog got the main brunt of the attack. It was cold outside and the smell wasn't so bad, until the dog started warming up. Inside the house. I went to the store to get some tomato juice to wash the dog in. While standing in line to pay, I started warming up too. People all around started sniffing the air. Needless to say I got out as quick as I could.
Try using tomato juice. At least he smelled like vegetables.![]()
The stuff a skunk sprays out is an acidic oil that absorbs rapidly into everything, it's not just airborne, but a generator may help. I know it helped me with other skunk smells years agoIf u can enclose it an ozone generator like ozonics or scent crusher. Or even one out of a hot tub will eliminate any odor within 30 min if u can get it isolated n a big tarp or something. Works good.

Just don't put the dog in with the Ozone generator, or he'll smell bad permanently....If u can enclose it an ozone generator like ozonics or scent crusher. Or even one out of a hot tub will eliminate any odor within 30 min if u can get it isolated n a big tarp or something. Works good.

Had a spot of skin cancer removed. It was a teenie spot about half the size of a pencil eraser which resulted in Mohs surgery and about a 3" incision and later a swollen and black eye.Is that like dragging the boulevard, but with a chainsaw?
On another note, I feel like the idiot here, but what surgery did you have Steve? Either way, I hope you recover quickly as it's almost riding weather and the cutting weather will be over soon!!!!
Yup. I had a Mohs done on my left lip up to the corner of the eye. Exactly the same advice that Steve gives! Get it checked quickly or they have to get real serious with the cuttin tools!Had a spot of skin cancer removed. If you ever see a spot on your skin that never seems to heal up and bleeds periodically, don't wait---do something NOW. My spot was only noticed 3 months before my surgery.
My brother-in-law noticed a small spot on his back and discovered when he went to the doctor that it was melanoma at stage 3 and about go into his lymph system which would have been terminal. Scary stuff.

The dog has been washed in Tomato juice, and the couch moved outside.....we needed a new one anyhow (couch). Ugh! Still stinks in here. Hard to do anything but laugh at this point.
