It's been like four years since I overhauled one. I got bearings and seals from local machinery supply house. Industrial Bearing & Transmission (IBT).

Ball bearing has snap ring groove.

I have a NOS XL-101 cylinder if you need it. Piston (1 3/4") is same as XL-12.

Lots of other parts for them in a big box.

Fellow came by today with a Homelite CS-50. See if I wanted to fool with it. Sent him packing.

Engine was loose in the chassis and chain would come off the sprocket. What a pile of chit.

still haven't got a metering lever spring because of stihls horrible service.... Going to order a tillotson for it instead I guess. Tried cutting the spring down and it flooded the cylinder and ran non stop
