Myself and some friends went to the VFW for breakfast. Mowed the lawn one last time and mulch leaves.
Spread winter fertilizer. Took the mower deck off both mowers, installed snow blower and blade along with
tire chains on both.
It seems like there is never enough hours in the day.
Hope your wife gets feeling better Kenneth, Brenda is still fighting a cold also.

I hope everyone's wife's get to feeling better. I have to say that mine's been a little wonky lately.
Take today, for instance. She always goes with me to cut and split wood. I even put a seat on the splitter for her to sit on because that hydro valve is so very uncomfortable to operate. (Thanks Doug) .
It's been cold here the past couple of mornings. 15 degrees, give or take a smidge. I'm loading things up to take out with us and I'm thinking it's warmer this morning (27 degrees) . I have on my flannel lined jeans, t shirt, insulated shirt and insulated work vest. Nice and toasty I am.
I'm back in the house, in the den finishing coffee, when I get a text.
From my wife.
Who's inside the house.
In the bedroom.
She needs help putting her boots on. Now, I'm thinking, seriously?
A text? Seriously? We're in the same house and it's not that big of a house!
So I go to the bedroom and there, sitting on the bed, is the Michelin Tire man. Good grief, she has on what must be every piece of insulated clothing that we own, I think.
Flannel lined jeans, with long underwear I'm sure. Long sleeve t shirt, flannel shirt, sweatshirt, insulated bib over all's. With a Carrhart coat yet to come.
And she can't get her boots on. Well no f'ing wonder Sherlock.
She's dressed like we're going on an Antarctic expedition.
I'm tellin ya guys, Wonky.:)

As far as calling or texting one end of the house to the other, we do it all the time.[emoji6]

I'm glad I'm not alone wearing flannel lined jeans.[emoji848]

And, Blondie has started her third week with the croup/hacking/koffing.[emoji37]

I stay at the opposite end of the house so I don't catch it.

Knowing your wife, I find this fuuuuunnnnnny. I was able to cut with T-shirt, long sleeve shirt, long johns on the bottom, and my carhart bib overalls. Was wearing a carhart cap but that didn't last long,,,too hot. I just love the fact she goes with you, helps you, loves you, and doesn't complain.
