I'm down to 13 cord a year or so.
But most of that never sees the barn.
Once it's there, I just don't want to part with it.

I am at the point where I need to invest in other equipment or downsize. 13 cord per year would be a good number with the equipment I have. Part of the problem is I can't say "no" when I get a call for some free wood; and, I like cutting :) Maybe I could find somebody who wants to buy unsplit rounds.

12 cord a year goes into a boiler. All Hedge, cause that's all he wants. No splitting involved.
Maybe you can find someone with an OWB.
But then they'll want the pieces cut longer.
:confused::confused:

Am I seeing the pic right..
A non green strip R7?
Gleaner changes little things I can't keep up with.

If I have my gleaner history right the r7 was introduced a year before the deutz buyout. Deutz just rebadged them till the r70 rollout with the deutz engine.

So yes there are both colors out there. And I think this one was green once upon a time.

Damn that light switch!
Who put that in your way?!? Better yet who is gonna move it :)
Ahh. That's the old washing machine outlet. This room used to be the laundry room when we first moved in.

Evening all! We could use the rain here... I have some pruning/limbing to do at my Grandmother's on Turkey day, then pick up some Silver Maple from a guy at work to avoid Him paying a dump fee, then take out a few small trees for a buddy at work for cash, then resume my efforts on the Red Oak down the road. I should have taken a pic for y'all to see how she's laying into the creek. I've got about 1/2 of the canopy gone, but it's a slow going, laborious PITA... About 3 more big limbs, then it will get REALLY fun as the remaining canopy is all submerged and propping the upper part of the tree out of the drink. I will have to drag roll it up and out to get full access. It was on the North bank of a creek and is currently pointed S/SE. I will have to roll it, (if I can) until it's pointing E-E/NE... Could be VERY entertaining... I need a dang skidder or yarder...
