No it's cold, rainy, windy, finish picking up the tools in the shop, making sure the bull is still in the corral, drinking coffee weather.

Those hills and trees will make a big difference on the wind. Flat out in this area, not the row crop land type of flat though.

The rain chances have been hanging out at the end of the long range forecast the last month or so here. Getting serious. Wells, springs, ponds drying up, folks nervous about burning too.

Same here, just saw a forecast saying low of 30° tonight.

Been a lot of red flag days here lately. Need to do some brush pile burning.

Morning all, 37° trending downward yet, going to 61°. Was going to make a fast run for some water therapy before the vacation was over but decided against it. Calves decided that the old fence needed a new hole so out to do some patching last night. Might jump back into that for a while today.

Down at the Stamp this weekend to get some more things done.

I met the guy I cut for at 7:00 yesterday morning. He is clearing a fence row and wanted me to help with 6 trees; power line on one side, road on the other. I dropped them all in the road, some with dozer assist, some not. I hooked a chain up to them and he dragged them with a dozer into a pasture. I will get some nice oak out of the deal, he can keep the 2 elm; and he wanted to keep the walnut for somebody else. 2 oaks were 24ish and one was 18ish. Having a dozer is fantastic; drags the whole danged tree!!! He paid me a couple hundo, so I am happy. Then I came home and worked 6 hours OT (1:30-7:30), and 4 more this morning.

The weather was fantastic yesterday; nice and cool. Carry on, and be safe.
