Waiting for it to go above freezing to get some things done. Dentist was a bust, white coat syndrome kicked in and blood pressure went up too high. Try again in a month or so. Went for checkup immediately after leaving the dentist and pressure had dropped 20 points on upper and 15 on lower, already back in normal range by the time I got home and ate a little breakfast.

20/42 & clear today.

Had the PUD move the meter from the house to a pole this morning.
Decided it'd be the best way to get power to each of the buildings as it more or less centrally located.

How many amps are you running to each building? If I had known you were doing this I have some aluminum service wire in the barn you could have taken with you on Saturday.

200 amp at the house, probably the same at the shed, then 100 in the shop which is probably going to be coming from the 200 amp panel in the shed.
Each run is about 65' from the meter.

Going underground? That's going to be some fun digging there if you do that. You have enough lugs in your meter loop to run separate lines or are you piggy backing them? When I added onto the house I put a new 200 amp service loop in and a 200 panel. Then ran a new line to the old 100 amp panel that was already in the house through the attic. All copper wire for me.

Going to be underground.....sorta.

It's all going to be in conduit so I think it'll be fine.

Planning to rent a ditch witch and do a bunch at one time, need to get the water line to the pig barn buried as well as water for the garden.
Not sure what's inside the main, we'll add a junction box down below if necessary.

Morning all, 33° and going up. Little breeze from south right now and I guess it is going to get a bit stronger today. I can report that trying to open the door on a Honda Odyssey with a non-functioning door latch is a great bit of fun. Rolling out at 4 for a little bit of down time.

Good morning.

26/63 & clear, I guess.

Sawed up a few old dead pine logs yesterday.
Also a big oak of some kind.... made a 3x6x17' for the hip rafter on a project.
Saved the rest of the log to make two more of em when the man is ready to do the rest of the porch.
