I talked to @Semotony on the phone a few minutes ago.
He had a fire at his house in December, and no longer has his device that he used to get on the forum here.
He has a place to stay with a friend of his, and he sounded like he is doing well.
Thank You for checking. Always liked his input at arboristsite good morning thread.

Had a visitor show up in the yard today. Usually see them in the trees out in the field when they come into the area. And now I am thinking about a stand alone griddle. This attempt looked and sounded good in concept but the griddle cools too fast since it is so far above the flames.

I will throw a bill in the pot if it will help him get something to get back on here. Not sure what platform he used device wise.

What cure did you use?

Eating some as I type....

Her current recipe;

For every pound of dead pig......
1 Tbsp salt
2 Tbsp real maple syrup.
1/2 tsp ascorbic acid (vitamin c) if you care about the color.....
Brine 10 days.
Smoked with apple wood chips.
