Nephew sent me some picts this morning of some older bars that were going to go in the trash. I told him to grab all of them that were being thrown away and bring them down. When I get back tonight I will post the couple of picts he sent me.

Talked to neighbors tonight after work and no problems working both sides of the fence on the 21st. This cedar tree is in the fence row to give an idea of some of the size of things. And apparently these bars were destined for the dumpster before nephew grabbed them.

Let me know what time people will be showing up and if you would like a hot breakfast. I can knock together some eggs, bacon, biscuits and sausage gravy with no problem.

I am ok with sausage, egg, and cheese biscuits; no bacon or gravy.

And who throws away brand new bars?

I can do that easily, but the best eggs are fried in bacon grease.
Conservation department when they don't have any saws they fit anymore.

Morning all, 16° and going up to almost 40° today and tomorrow. Told work if they have extras, today would be a good day for me to stay home. If so I'll try to get some stuff started. I know where I would like to pile brush where a cedar already is at and it will need to come down.

Friend called on his way to Neosho. Took a break and spent a couple hours on the creek. Used to wear under armor cold gear in the past but figured out today that I can't really do that anymore. Seems to be too compressive on my legs as I get older. Couldn't figure out what was wrong until I took a shower tonight and took them off.

Morning all, 26°, coffee, fire. Upper 30's today and then not about freezing again until Monday. Not sure about next week, guessers are calling for rain, snow, or ice on Tuesday. Let's get this show on the road.

morning folks. Brrr -7f, coffee to help with self-thawing, 11f in a couple of hours, and 20f ish by the weekend, which has several days of chances to bring frozen moistures.

Snowblowers have been tested, spare fuel (check), and some deicing stuffs. Yep were mostly ready for some true northern weather.

I cannot tell for sure, but guessing the rainbows were found dead and not caught. Too cold for trout?

Trout are cold water fish and it is catch and release in this area right now. All caught and released back. Carl should be able to start ice fishing and keeping on the 1st. They were wanting something white so it probably doesn't show up well. I use 3lb line so I know it doesn't show up.

Thanks for the clarification, I knew trout were cold water fish, and had never heard of the cold killing them, therefore my question. In this pic I can make out what looks to be a curly tail and the ultralight line! Dang their pretty fish...

Edit for crappy spelling: they're pretty fish
