always!Got an extra tractor I can borrow? lol
Oldest works at the local Walmart. She said people were already acting crazy. Wife always does a morning pickup for her grocery run but couldn't get in until 3 today if she wanted to do that. Dollar General's were packed as well I noticed on the way home. Not supposed to hit until about 4 this afternoon, strangely I'm not too worried about being out except for the cold. Been out in this stuff so many time for work that unless it turns to ice it's no big deal. I will sneak my buddy heater into the truck when the roads get a bit iffy in case I get stuck and need to keep warm. Probably a no-no but it's not like management will be bothered to get out of the office on days like this.Went to Walmart last night to get stuff for stew. No onions, no carrots, no celery, no potatoes, no cornbread, no eggs, no cottage cheese. Those were just the things I was looking for. People everywhere!
What snowfall totals are you forecast to get?Morning all, 24° and watching the temp drop. Looks like getting colder this morning then going up a little around noon and then going south after that. Single digit highs for the weekend. Keep warm today, going to take a bit of wood over the next couple of weeks. Extended forecast saying not above freezing until Feb. 2 possibly, but with the way the guessers have been on this front it's all up in the air.
Not enough or too much. The forecast has changed so much I almost stopped paying attention to it. Anywhere from 4" to 16" depending on which guesser is saying it. With the minimal forecast it may only be 5". I need to write down the guesser who in '72, before my time, completely missed a 36" storm. What snowfall totals are you forecast to get?
Milling pine…Yellow pine makes decent lumber, not the best but generally pretty useable.
The price was right.......a couple hours of enjoyable work, in exchange for a nice little stack of logs.
They’d make a month long weather dork orgy out of a storm like that today. Not enough or too much. The forecast has changed so much I almost stopped paying attention to it.
