Good morning y’all. Cutting wood at my place and taking it to moms today. I’ll be carrying a lot inside so I don’t have to dig it out of the snow. This discussion about the smell of sassafras reminds me of root beer Iris. My mom always had Iris of many colors and the brown one truly smelled like root beer. Be safe!

Good morning folks. The only hot things around here are the wood stove and some strong coffee this morning.

Seems we've already had our high temp for today.

Hopefully where your at it will be a bit warmer. Definitely inside project days for us for the next few days.

At least it is rather sunny this morning.

I'd rather have the snow with a bit warmer temps, then it would be riding sled time. Maybe when it swings warn in a couple of days.

3 goats down straight away this morning, from the blind. That’s 9 from this blind this year. Best $110 I have spent in a long time.



And as a bonus, my sons cousin showed up & gutted the stinking things so I didn’t have to do it.

Walked another 3 miles & didn’t see a darn thing. Very pleasant out now, not much breeze & about 30*.
