I tend to look up when they fly over, Then I look around to see if anyone saw me do that.
I have been told geese shoot craps long before they get into formation, but my trust alert is still buzzing.

Today I wore short pants, first time I remember that on Christmas. I'm not like Matt who wears them year round. Last Saturday it was chilly on the water and when we stopped by Matt's he was wearing shorts, just like in October out here at the house during the GTG. I get cold too easy for the amount of insulation I carry.

Morning all, looks like 55° right now and going to 75°. Going to try to do a little work around the place today. Neighbor will come over tomorrow and shoot a little skeet, wobble base is a blast to use on the thrower. Probably do a last trip of the year on the 31st to Stockton again so if anyone would like an early morning boat ride let me know.

Filled my truck this morning. Neighbors breakfast was decent, got to talk to a few of the others from the area. Home afterwards to feed, fill the tractor and do other chores. Hopefully only three more Christmas Eves in the brown truck now. I refuse to turn on the AC even though I heard others running today. Dad and I were talking last night about the temps lately. He was saying when my grandfather made it back from fighting in WWII that they would talk about flowers blooming in January. The seasons change all the time so we will be patient and see what the next few years hold.

I find a strange double irony in your post. First, the treehuggers would blame the picture for the “climate change.” Second, there were hot spells in winter back nearly a century ago, when oil consumption was only a tenth of what it is now. Maybe there isn’t a strong correlation?
