Heading to KC tomorrow, probably just going to be a quick run up and back. Wish I had more time to run around there, I'd try to meet up with Chet and Kenneth. Wife doesn't travel well and I don't want to have to clean up. Eventful day today, pictures to follow.

@Only the Tony I might have to stop down on 39th street and have a bagel anyway 😁
That is a planned stop for a couple dozen fresh varieties. We have to be at KU medical about 7:30 or so and she requested that it be a faster trip. Little black Jetta will be making the trip.
You clean up to travel to the city ???
KC is a dirty place but I bet I would be frowned upon if I walked into KU with fish blood everywhere. Almost as bad as if I walked in with her vomit all over.

Do you drill and use concrete anchor bolts for attaching the walls? When I added onto my house I went a little crazy on how I did things. I laid out all my floor joist locations first, placed my anchor bolts and tied them into the rebar in the foundation wall. I bent my vertical rebar into boxes on the bottom to support four pieces or rebar that run though the footing. So the footing is tied to the sill plate basically with an almost direct connection. Things aren't moving here. Maybe I thought things out a bit too much.

Yes, we decided to use wedge anchors on this one...wet set anchors are a pain.

If you get hit by a serious storm, it'll have to make matchsticks before it comes loose from the foundation.
