Cool morning at 42° right now. I want my hour of sleep back that this time change took away. Now I am up later at night and still wake at the same time anyway. And it will be dark while we are still working. Saturday will at least be some lake time, may be flying solo.

Everybody still recovering from the time change? Broke into the new cow carcass yesterday for lunch. Leftovers for supper tonight, steak omelet with that pepper melt cheese I had for burgers on the 25th. Hoping for a day off this week so I can get another load of wood and bring home the tractor.
Has anyone had stupid rate increases from insurance lately? Got a bill from State Farm that over tripled our umbrella policy. I'm guessing in a week and a half I will have everything transferred to a new company. After 35 years and one claim a year and a half ago I'm done with the increases.

I tell ya, there's a lot of ups & downs and winding roads between here and Shell Knob.

Morning all, starting at 50° to 73° and wind. Cut a little on the pile last night and will try to split a bit and put up after cows and before work. Fingers crossed that we have extra bodies and I will work from home today.

Insurance is a scam. Good luck finding cheaper insurance
