Good morning! Went to Oologah, OK yesterday to pick up a Homelite 20MCS that a fellow collector bought for me. Got back just in time for a planned trip for a friend to help pick up two hit and miss engines. He is a total rookie when it comes to hit and miss engines but just had to have a couple. He bought them just from looking at pictures of them. I guess he didn't think a 3-horse engine would be very big because his eyes popped out when he saw the size of the McCormick Deering. The previous owner used a bucket loader with forks in order to lift it and put it in my trailer. Now that I think about it I need to get a hold of him this morning to prevent him from getting a broken arm trying to start them.PXL_20251101_134758433~2.jpgPXL_20251031_230421099.jpgPXL_20251031_230430528.jpg

New calf, meter was installed yesterday and now I need to unload some wood. Decent day so far, taking a little break to eat something and then go light a brush pile. Friend is bringing his daughter out for some hotdogs and marshmallows.

Meshuggah Bagels are Awesome!

Let me know when you come to town, maybe I can meet you guys there.

I’m partial to Rye toasted with Lots of butter.

Sometimes (rarely) they will have Pumpernickel, another variety I like toasted with butter, butter and a little more butter.

Hopefully sell it in parts or the whole for a profit.....hopefully.
Only paid $25 so not a terrible gamble.
Set it up outside the house and start making "corn squezzins" to sell. You should have enough stuff around to build a still by now. And those 3 point augers always seem to crack at that same spot.

I drove past and looked at it several times before I decided one day to stop in. Did the same thing with McBee's, now that is a definite stop. Picked up a bunch of varieties to try out that day at both places. I can't remember what the favorites are but I will check before we leave. I think her appointment is the 25th.

Lol.

That auger is Sam's next welding/repair project.

Your still remark reminds me of a local dude who stopped by the house one day (drunk as a skunk) and offered to supply us with 5 gallons of homebrew per week...."strictly for medicinal purposes".

It's chilly outside here, 31° for the start of the day. When do we get this extra hour of sleep "they" talk about, just means when I get up the clock says an hour earlier. May try for another load of wood after lunch today when it warms a bit. Pumpkins got dropped to $1 each the other day so pies just came out of the oven. Looks like steak, baked potatoes and pumpkin pie for lunch.
