Gauge is sitting on 2.5" for last two days. Got caught in the rain at last stop today. Pickup at a business that has one section of guttering missing and it is over the door where I had to walk in and out about a dozen times.

I was pruning a big cedar for my mother today & saw a couple carpenter bees floating around a couple of limbs.

Not destructive, they say, only go after untreated sawn lumber, they say.

BS, I say.

I have never seen them in living trees before or dead trees either.

Maybe I have just lived a sheltered life.

Some keep getting into the cedar trim around my porch beam.

Heavy thick fog this morning, couldn't see the barn from the house so I didn't try to take the tractor around the field to check cows. Don't want to chance running over a calf somewhere. Gas station about 10 miles from the house was so heavily fogged in you had to be less than a hundred yards from it to see any of the lights. Needed some lick tubs anyway in case Thomas shows up at some point, may just set him free with a 200lb one to see how much he can eat.
.
Pretty decent weather today.

Today's junk haul.
Delta contractors saw, two 20' tow chains, couple new gas wanabe cans, and a pile of miscellaneous yard sale stuff.

Nope, you want em?
I didn't figure I'd try selling them, so if you have any use for em I'll set em aside for next time we're in the same county.
Been thinking about getting one for a few years just to hang up and have around for conversation piece. Have to see what we can work out and I'll get you some folding money for them. Should try to get you and Sam back out in the boat.

I'm putting your name on one of them.....unless you want two or three of them?
No monies necessary.

BTW, there's a farm auction in Neosho this Saturday at 9am.

Doubt I'll be there.... hopefully I'll be down Little Rock way picking up a machine.

Newtonia days on Saturday. Boy is in the band and I will be over there doing family stuff. Should have some relatives singing gospel before the little parade they do and then after that the jazz band will play. They open the Ritchey mansion for the public so we will do out annual walk through. Posted these before of the black room used as a hospital during the civil war. So many amputations that the floor was painted black because of the blood stains.
