Cut up a bit of Mulberry today, not because I wanted to but because I had already worked my arse off to get it out of the water gap in the creek.

Figured if I had that much time & effort in it, I was going to burn it.

I knew it was there & we have an excavator coming to do some work so I just waiting.

Neighbor turned his cows in yesterday, 120 acre pasture. Those witches made a beeline to the water gap & were out within a a couple hours of being turned into the pasture.

Fortunately dad was around to run the tractor/loader while I scaled the bank hooking chains & chainsawimg.

Everybody should have to build fence in the creek while crotch deep in water. It’s a character building experience. Or maybe it just sucks…

Lol.
My dad made me and my brother dig a ditch through our creek for the water line.....we spent what seemed like weeks in (and under) the water digging, mostly with our hands.....but by golly we buried that stupid pipe.

Morning crew, 55-77°f, unusually cool for August 8n misery.
On a complete different subject, bought a box of solar night lights that were missing the sharp post end. Got em at cleaeence discount and was given original price refund. They wouldn't refund the money on pellets for my Benjamin gun so I came out close to even With nearly free pellets

55° right now in the dark. Need to figure out my day, off for oldest birthday today. She doesn't want to do anything in particular so I will do some things at the house. Dad and I checked out brothers pressure tank and I made sure to show his wife how to turn off the well pump and water heater. Saturday mornings project is to replace the tank as this one is just about done for. Rust showing on the side of the tank and fittings getting ready to go.

Brats tonight. Pictures still randomly flipping for some reason. Time to close up the shop after dragging all the tools inside. Ran a little conduit today until I ran out of needed parts. I'll get some more done tomorrow night after work.

Deere fuel line. Why it didn’t want to pass fuel.

View attachment 468137View attachment 468137

How I found the kill switch wires. Just flopping around under the top cover.

Why it didn’t show a consistent spark.

Is it worth trying the Deere dealer for a fuel line?

And: W changed the bar nose to .375.

Ended up at 115 DL for a 32”(?) bar.
