We need some .59 here pretty bad.

It’s been 4 weeks since the last measurable one.

we just picked up a 1400 pounder today..

Got damn near $4000.00 into it..

There’s gotta be a better way…

That is a bad deal about the lack of precipitation in your neck of the woods. Hopefully, you get some rain soon.

As far as the beef goes, that’s a lot of Benjamins.

But what is it worth to know what you are eating.

Expensive, yes,
Tasty , yes
Piece of mind knowing where it came from & what was put in it, priceless, to me.

Now I am hungry...
Your welcome.

2 cups of coffee, 2 glasses of water, 2 fried eggs with some shredded Parmesan cheese, 3 slices of bacon, some lettuce, 2 slices whole grain wheat toast with butter, mayo & 1/2 a sweet potato should tide me over until supper.

This one was my nephews show steer.
Had plenty of carcas fat on him, but I would have like to seen him on feed till 20 months or so.
I think he was between 18 and 19 months old. Showed at the fair in the 1400 pound class but they had to keep his water away from him the night before to make sure he made weight.

Ya missed the burp. That's a well rounded b-fast "snack".

Good morning folks. It dropped to 67 overnight, which was enuf for it to be a bit foggy. This is after it had cleared a good bit, visibility was down to maybe a 1/10th of a mile about 30 earlier than this picture.

Island (just to the left of the feeder) is just under 1 mile away.

Will any of him be available?

Got too hot on the Cooper Creek public dock by 1:00.
Only a small mouth buffalo to show.

Probably a white sucker. Small mouth buffalo has forward facing mouth, not turned down. How long you going to be there for? Got a friend who will be down there tomorrow afternoon/evening and will be there for a couple days. If I didn't have birthday stuff to take care of this weekend I would take you out on the boat.

I haven't heard much beyond they were hauling in dirt and planning on pouring a new slab the next day. Maybe my brother will fill me in next time I see him or when the bills start coming in. Tenant was going to try insurance first. Guessing all the sand, Wheeler County, Nebraska, did not help with how much dirt was removed.

Haven't seen the bills, but insurance is going to pay minus the deductible. Total was in the $23,000 area.

That’s a big bill, glad your insurance is going to compensate for it.

I think it's $1,500 deductible so we can handle that. Still need a lot of education on all this farming stuff. Thank goodness we have great tenants that take care of most problems.
