Happy 4th. Blackberry cobbler time. Getting ready to head to the folks to start on ice cream. Count your fingers now and tonight.

Blackberry Cobbler

This is the one I have been using. I like the texture of the cobbler, kind of in between a cake and a biscuit. Wish my blackberries were a bit sweeter but the amount of rain we have got this spring with not enough sun have them a bit tart. I'll pick my blueberries in a bit and make muffins in the morning for breakfast.

Morning all. Already looking at 73° and more rain maybe. Got some more blueberry picking and hay hauling to do today. May beat my head some more on the gremlins with the farm truck except I'm getting to frustrated with it. Needs an engine harness and I'm patching up some wiring to make sure that is the only problem.

There are a few berries to pick today on our patch as well.

Good morning folks.
After the heat and recent rains the yard is close to a hay field in length.
It'll be a good day to get in some extra steps, especially with it cooling down close to 20F from the last couple of days.

Seems the misses wants to be driven to the place by the lake in Osceola IA, for a 31yr get out of town deal. We'll be staying for a couple of nights (nearly comped rooms) getting into town tomorrow evening.

I hope I packed my lucky horseshoe or it could get expensive. . .
