Good afternoon y’all. I haven’t been on here in a while. Hope everyone is well. We’ve had some high winds in Wichita. 101 mph measured at the airport. The shop I frequent sold 15 saws by noon yesterday.
Is it time for a GTG/Charity Cut? More like a sweat fest...

What will that cost UPS? And will it cost the driver his job, assuming it is his fault and he was speeding?
We are usually told they figure at least a million for something like this. Problem is that is what UPS will pay the insurance company not what the final payout will be. Driver was at fault on this one from the police report but not for speeding. Looks like he turned directly into the path of the motorcyclist in this case. He was probably watching his GPS rather than the road. When they introduced these things the number of accidents jumped tremendously.

My wife has questioned me twice about our rain gauge leaking & straight up said it leaks once.

I have tried explaining the double cylinder system & that would it have to have 2 leaks. After today’s assertion that the gauge leaks I brought it inside & put water in both cylinders & left them on the counter.

Why ? Because I am a grumpy, obstinate & cantankerous old man.

No water on the counter yet but I am sure there will be after she knocks the 1” cylinder over.

About 3:00am this the morning the dogs erupted & I could tell they had treed or cornered some type of varmint.

At 6:00 the were still occasionally barking but it was muffled, I went out & looked around & figured they were in the shed.

As I made my way to the shed & the beagle popped his head out & gave me a look of disdain. Obviously thinking “it’s about time we have been barking for 3 hrs.”

I walked in & they had 3 raccoons in the rafters, so I went to the pickup & grabbed my gun, then the lab comes out & sits at the power pole & looks up. They had 2 more ran up the light pole.

It was a pretty successful morning for them. They were pretty proud of themselves as was I.
