Sitting outside by the shop last night after I got back home and watched several emergency vehicles go by. Talked to worker at fire station and neighbor who witnessed it today to get the story. Fedex driver flying down dirt road like an idiot locked them up and went flying across the highway into the opposite ditch. Luckily no one on highway or the Fedex driver would have killed them. Neighbor called 911 and figured the driver was done for but somehow made it out without too much wrong with him. Guess when the neighbor told the state patrol officers what happened it pissed off the driver a bit. After truck loaded on flatbed, wrecker driver used neighbors driveway to turn around in and the Fedex driver flipped off the neighbor who reported him. Not something you want to do with ex-army guy. Lucky the idiot wasn't pulled from the truck and beaten in front of highway patrol, but it was close.
Oh, and I forgot to mention the other wreck, hit and run, on Thursday afternoon at the same intersection where the 6 year old was killed a little over a month ago.

Send that rain to the Oma-dome please. 95f for today upper 80's rest of the week. We so need rain.:(
Hopefully you get some rain, they have pretty much taken out our rain chances.

The college World Series is in town, that’s usually a good indicator that some rain is forth coming.

Lat night it was about 60%, this morning 20%, by noon it will be 80% & 6:00pm it we be 0%.

The guessers have no clue but the Omaha office is usually a lot more accurate than Des Moines.

I saw a lot

Haying this year is definitely going to be a money losing venture.

Had to replace 4 belts on my brothers disc mower on on Monday.

Pretty sure that Dad’s 1066 Farmall ate its pigs today, I got a coolant bath, the oil pan is full & the rest is on the road. It was blowing white smoke before I got it shut down. Either a head gasket or a cracked sleeve.

I put the 7330 on the rake after the 1066 chit out. I blasted a stump on the first round, bent a rake wheel & the tandem swivel arm that holds two wheels. I am sure that Kuhn just gives those away.

Hopefully the arm can be straightened or cut & re-welded to be useable.

7330 was overheating, damn cottonwood seeds were plugging things up, got that all blown out & cleaned up.

I will see what I can blow up, tear up or burn up tomorrow. What could possibly go wrong with a tractor & baler…
