60's were a good time ! Tornado took down a TV sending antenna @ Hamton near hwy 40. It got reinstated on land that joined my back yard. Brush hugged a very few times a year. Good squirrel taking with my benjamin pellet rifle in that land. More'n a square mile. Regulated so if that tower ever came down ( absolute worst case) no private residence would be struck. 3 1 1/2 " cables at each of 3 corners x 2 attached to deeply embedded concrete sanctions. It's a vertical set of 3tubes with next to no more wind resistance than flag poles INHO. Fed over kill nuf saidThe ‘60s were a hoot!
Until ‘68 when *s-word got real.![]()

Cool 56° to start the day. Played hooky yesterday with Dad after telling work I didn't think they would need me yesterday. I didn't bother to tell them about the back to back dentist appointments I had first thing in the morning though. They are on a need to know basis anyway.
What kind of serpent is that?View attachment 461819
