After we got to the Stamp yesterday there are procedures to activating the Stamp. I purposely shut down power, isolate power and lock power access out. I do this in case somebody decides to try and take up residence when we’re not here. It’s not hard to power stuff up but if one doesn’t know the procedure one will not have power. No matter how hard they try. It’s locked down. After all is set up one of the last steps is to power up the well and charge the tank. It wouldn’t power up.
That’s just great! While we always bring water jugs in, especially in the winter we don’t use the well as it’s been put to bed for the winter, we bring in water just in case. After some multimeter diagnosing I found the pump breaker was bad. I had a spare, installed it, now we have water. I mainly needed the well as we’re planning on burning brush this week and wanted it as a backup. But I told Goldie if it’s windy no burning.

Rather blustery here again today.

Yesterday afternoon was really windy, 40mph wind gusts, It was an adventure trying to chase windrows of hay across the fields.

After about 4:00pm or so a front moved in & the temps dropped to the upper 60’s from upper 70’s.

About 45* overnight.

55° at 4:30 AM on the truck. I need to sharpen my fillet knife. Dad finished getting the hay cutter back together finally after I replaced the driven gear set and got the cutter bar back in one piece. Now rain supposed for my vacation week when we were hoping to get some hay done.

That’s a nice haul of fishes, glad you got your mower back together.

Bummer about the rain when you were hoping to roll up some hay.

Guessers are claiming up to 4” here for tonight thru Wednesday. We can use it , you folks have had a lot of frog stranglers down there already though.

Supposed to be cooler here al next week.
Glad for that. Woke up early Saturday morning in part because the blower fan on the AC didn't kick on when the compressor was running. Showing loss of communication with blower motor. I'll be calling HVAC people this morning since I don't have any way to test the control board or memory card on this thing.
