How'd it go?

How did that go?
This was a 16 team tournament, most tournaments are 8 teams. There were some very good teams from the OKC/Edmond area, which we normally do not play. Isaac plays doubles. He played 4 matches instead of the standard 3. You have to win your 1st match to go to the winner's bracket; those 8 teams play for the championship. If you lose your first match, the best you can do is 9th in a 16 team tournament, or 5th in a 8 team tournament.

Isaac won, lost, won, and won; which gave him and his partner 5th place; I think that is a good day considering the quality of the other teams; if some of these teams were on TV, most people would not know they were high schoolers.

No kidding....
If I ever start going north for the summers, ya'll will know I came into some extra cash.
Lisa and I have discussed this in detail.
Lake Superior as soon as the wheat is off and the beans are in the ground.
Come back in September..

Then gulf port MS in January.. come back in March.

I drastically underestimated the size of an Elm tree I had to dispatch yesterday..
Big American elm leaning just a little the wrong way over the fence.
The trees next to it that needed to go were Ash trees, so I accepted the task..

6 trees in all. I’ll try and get some pics today when I pick up the logs,

I was in north Wisconsin/lake superior one year in August... a few random mosquitoes, but otherwise way better weather than here.
I have close to zero desire to go farther south in the winter, but I understand some folks do.

Morning all. It is a super windy day already. Started in the middle of the night. Nephew thought we needed to fish Tablerock yesterday. Launched at Eagle Rock to cold and little fog. Up the lake less than a mile and hit fog so thick you couldn't see the sun. I told him it was not the best place yesterday, but he wanted to take a friend. He will figure it out one day.
