He backed down when the Dow tanked; smart man. Where does most of our crap come from? Who pays for higher tariffs? Who does higher tariffs benefit most? Dow Jones is good, but who does it benefit most?
Top 10% have 80% stocks bottom 50% have debt, maybe some retirement depending on certain stocks. Democrat Walz was running for pres of vice. In charge of a state which has 3,000,000 + shares of tesla for state retirement fund. Have seen video of him crowing about tesla stock being down to $225 which can cause grief to state employees retiring soon. But he thinks it hurts Elon who owns only 12.5 % of the stock, 1/8 of the shares.
So glad that person with that quality of thought is only governor, can screw up only 2% of states.
Tariffs supported our federal government til irs taxing was approved in 1913. Protects the business's profits and keeps outsiders from sending a bunch of cheap goods that local manufacturers cannot compete with. (¿China?)
At least 4 foreign car makers are gonna bring plants into the States. The Iphone maker says they are bringing in $500,000,000 of manufacturing scattered in several cities/states for the U.S.
If the 1st $150,000 of income is tax free, that extra money will travel thru a lotta hands that are employed. People having a financial where with all like never before. It's hope for my kids and grandkids
