Haven't been on here in a while, been BUSY sold all of our properties and bought a place IN THE STICKS .

Right on the Oklahoma Arkansas border at a little wide spot in the road called Cerragordo, Arkansas.
I live on the Oklahoma side but my east property line is the state line.

Question, I am going to remove all the pine trees , good straight pine timber but not enough for a logging crew to come and get ,

Would anyone on here have a portable saw mill want to come and cut this up?? And or have a get together?

I really hate to burn all this as it's damn good timber , it's too close to home and I'm surrounded by pines .

No , to give it away,

I don't need it ,

Just hate to see it go to waste .

Also I have 5-7 dead standers, when sawn they have beautiful blue streaks in the wood and beetle holes .

Makes pretty wood

Man, I need some pine for a building project at the moment too....

About what diameter are the trees?
I'm trying to convince myself it's a practical idea..... I'm sure its not....

If you are on book of face I could FaceTime you

No Facebook account here.

Trouble with cutting fresh pine as late as may is the bugs and rot will destroy it really fast, due to the temperature / humidity and the sap content..... unless you have a way to kiln dry it.....

Dry shed works, the beetles leave as soon as it dies, we did my friends house in it , looks damn good

Okay, I didn't have a dry place to stack the pine I was cutting last spring, so maybe that's why I had so much trouble.

The project sounds like a great gtg opportunity.... I'd love to bring my mill down there and saw down a few pines and mill em up.

If I only had a big gooseneck trailer to haul the lumber back.........
