I'm fooling with a Onan 36lp plus ....

Ordered low pressure regulator that has a purge button on it , that purge switch on the generator was useless LOL .

Some of the reasons onan went out of business ,

You can push the electric switch all you want ,, but gas cannot get by regulator....

Dumb bastards..

5500-7500watt portable. I would tie it into the 500 gallon tank I have. I figure propane is cheaper than gas. Probably get a dual fuel set up.

Dad has a Miller like that, it’s obnoxiously loud.
I would recommend the true fuel to Dad & my brother but it would fall on deaf ears. Lol.

Was $5 a gallon last time I got it.

That stuff Matt gets is good stuff, can't get it here. I wish they would open a shop in Tulsa. I use Sta-bil in straight gas, never a problem. I would use Startron too. I use Sea Foam in my 2-stroke fuel on occasion.

After each time running my generators, I top them 0ff with 100LL airplane fuel. Very long shelf life. They fire up pretty easy. Use normal non ethanol while running. Get it from local small town air ports self pumps.

At the cabin I use TruFuel in the generator to avoid draining the carb whenever it sat for more than 3 weeks even on non alcohol gas. Starts first pull now.

Our wildfire sprinkler system uses propane to avoid problems from non-use over long periods of time. It’s a regular B&S motor with a propane feed attached to the mouth of the carb. Bleed it to a count of 3, and it starts on the third pull every time. 20 lb. tank will run it about 7 hrs. continuously.

Stopped by Lowe's last night to get my youngest son a gift card for his birthday (turned 34, geeze time flies). I always stop by the chainsaws to check stiff out and I see they have a Husqvarna 545 on the shelf. Didn't know there was such model. In reading it says they are a magnesium case pro saw with autotune. I was surprised that Lowe's would carry a pro class saw. They've always just carried the farm and ranch clam shell saws. $700 for it.
