I ordered the 15’ whip but they give you 5’ of ground lead….. smh
That may be to let you weld a larger radius. Ground at front of trailer wood allow welding close to 20 feet down the trailer, as an example. Don't really need ground on top of welding area. If the ground is making a good connection your weldment will be enough to stickem together

But I do like to walk around my welding table with the welder connected… just saying. 10’ would be nice!

Update on the tracks for the skid/track loader:

Tech was over today & got to looking things over, some of the cleats had broken out on one side & both tracks have splits/splitting out. The tech who works on a lot of the these couldn’t believe that they only had 370hrs on them.
My brother sent Dad to Des Moines to get a new set of tracks.

I didn’t inquire as to what those were going to cost.
12-1500 per..

Hope mine last at least 1000 hrs..
At this rate I don’t know if they will or not..
They sure get cut up quick..

But never had a flat!!

I hear you, but $1500 will fix a lot of flats and buy a lot of tires. the flat-free solid tires are astronomical. it is hard for me to justify any of it for what I do; it would be nice though.

All good points but the way these gents talk about you, you would have those flat free tires shredded & junked in no time at all.

By the way do you have any new purchases you would care to share with the group ???

LOL, I would turn those flat free tires into rubber bands in record time.

No new purchases here. I dither too much. It wasn't me who got the 125
