Should be easy. I was in Race Brothers over the weekend & Carhart racks were bare. Couldn't buy their stuff if you wanted to.

I deliver craploads of that to Orschelns all the time. The reps ship extra to the stores to rack up their commissions. One of the assistant managers called him out on it and made the rep buy a bunch of it back.

I wonder what the new up and comer will be for the stuff I would purchase?

I got a crap load of Carhart stuff. "WAS", my brand of choice..
Time to find something better I guess..

Been wearing Berne stuff for a while. I need to get me a new pair of insulated bibs. Caught a half of half sale one time and bought a matching duck jacket for $25.

I have a 036 and a 034. Not pro or supers. Can I put a 036 Pro top end on them? I'm aware I can put a 036 on the 034 with muffler spacers and a little plastic trimming but don't know if I can put the Pro on it. Thanks

IIRC; all the Pro deal means is the oil pump is adjustable over the standard pump. So, one can turn the oil output Down for short bars. Both put out the same at max.

Big deal, right?

Slap on the 036/MS360 top end and continue to march.

Makes all the difference in the world. Add sunshine with low humidity and it is relatively pleasant imo.

My Dad worked the Alaskan pipeline in the 70s, one of the first crews up there. He said the temps would be in the teens, maybe single digits, and the native Alaskans were wearing T-shirts (and even shorts sometimes). He never seen anything like it. He said it was dry and no wind, unlike Middle America. He also said -60 to -70 was a whole new ball game...deadly

Thanks. I was thinking there was a difference in engine size between the 036 and 036 Pro. Adjustable oiler would be nice but I won't be using over an 18" bar, maybe a 20" for reach. Don't use the decomp on my 440 so sure don't need it on the 036. Tanks for the reply

That 034 might have better timing than a newer 036/360 head.
