Should be easy. I was in Race Brothers over the weekend & Carhart racks were bare. Couldn't buy their stuff if you wanted to.
I wonder what the new up and comer will be for the stuff I would purchase?

I got a crap load of Carhart stuff. "WAS", my brand of choice..
Time to find something better I guess..

Was not happy to hear this..

Man *f-word that Chinese made *s-word.

I can easily add Carhartt to the list along with Nike I’ll wear what I already have but will no longer purchase or product.

Dick’s Sporting Goods is still feeling the wrath for their stupid decision in the past.

Dicks was a worthless store from day one for me.

Go to settings and switch it to vulgar.

My buddy works at home for several
Big insurance companies they are
Saying Shot or job, it's a bad deal

My job has the same sentiment as the rest of us.

Shots are for after work, from a glass bottle to a glass cup.

Been clearing an old fence row (barbed wire gone but still in the trees) for a guy. We have about half of it done. The half that is done had one tree (hackberry) left on the very end. We have not taken it down because it is near (hanging over) a good fence. The land owner was clear on not wanting it to fall on his fence. Been waiting on the land owner to help us pull it over; he has a 100 hp Case tractor. Today was the day. He gets a little gungho, which worries me. I do not trust very many people when it comes to dropping trees, and he is no sawyer for sure. We talked about how I wanted to do it since my ass is under the tree.

We got a chain on it and I told him to get in the tractor and put a little tension on the tree, then get out of the tractor and come watch me until I tell him to get back in the tractor. I put the face cut in. I go to the back of the tree and start to do the back cut. I get a few inches in the back cut and he stops me. He says, "Aren't you going to start up here (about 18" above the back cut) and angle it down?":facepalm::facepalm: I tell him "heck no and stand back!". Anyhow, I continued the back cut and put 3 wedges in the tree. It was at that point I told him to get back in the tractor and pull forward slowly on my signal. I continued, and as soon as I got close to the hinge I gave him the signal. When we were done he said, "You make that look easy!" It helps when you have a 100hp tractor, I need one, lol.
Here’s a pretty good vid of that angled “farmer’s cut”.

The firewood charity I cut for, and many on here helped with, was where I made my personal decision on the trees that I cut down.
I will not cut down a tree that's within striking distance of a structure.
I will not cut down a tree that's within striking distance of any kind of fence.
I will not cut down a tree that's within striking distance of power lines.
Bad things can and do happen.
