Walked my daughter down the aisle and placed her hand into another man's hand.
I'll be the first to say it brought a tear to my eye. It wasn't sadness though. It was from the joy that she had found someone who loved her as much as I do. He's an honest man and a hard worker.
The hard part for me is they live 11 hours away.
But I'll take her happiness over mine any day.

Heck no...
We were barely able to get oats in the ground and keep from getting stuck last Wednesday..

Then the monsoon season moved in..

Hopefully, we get a reprieve for at least a week now..
Our ground can’t hold as much water as the stuff up there in Iowa. We’ve had nearly 6” of rain in 4 days.
