Anyone getting antsy for morels?
Honestly, I have never been. I'd want to go with someone who's done it before. My FIL picked some mushrooms once and prepared them. They were delicious except I had the runs for the next 3 days. At least I can say I got cleaned out real good.

Called the Local Kubota dealer.
Was gonna go check out the cabs on them and get pricing.
They don't have any.. Still waiting on the 2021's..
What a weird year this has been.

Afternoon fellas! We had a nice 12 hours worth of rain, at a real slow pace. Ended up with .55", which is welcome and definitely needed. We went from 2019 being so wet, farmers were complaining about rain, if you can imagine that, to 2020, where we haven't had much. Only a little here and there and not much snow either. I hope everyone has a good weekend!

You can't mistake them for anything else.

Last year in my back yard in town.
It’s going to be awhile before they start showing up here also.

Besides you don’t have time to be out shroom hunting you have diapers to change & young uns to feed.

I got a baby backpack and 4 children who can walk. We'll be out!

@moparnut88 did you get the specs you were wanting from that CL Fab tree puller ? They were listed on that link I posted.

Yes I did thanks! I was thinkn 4” bore. So I was close to my guess. They use 3.5”x 8”. I’ve got to get my dom and pins outta the rack and machined and grease zerks tapped. Then I can start fitting the teeth on.

Morning all!

Chet dropped off some Stihl junk for the geezer to play with. A MS170 (dead on arrival), a BG65 (primer bulb and pull rope got it up on C’list [emoji108]and a FS90 w/straight shaft. (Comp near zilch).

Plan is to use the shaft from the FS90 (right) on the FS75 (left) then add a cutter head to cobble a shorty pole saw. [emoji1696]

Very first blower I ever fixed. [emoji19]

Look on C’list for a large mint Echo for sale.

Sold two saws today. The MS440 and a 200t clone.

It’s been a good day in the Blacksnake Hills. [emoji16]

Throttle return spring on the 655BP jumped ship.[emoji90]

Near two hours dealing with it. [emoji2959][emoji2959][emoji2959]

R&R throttle shaft is not for amateurs.

The eight year old tygon needs replaced.

But a MS170/180 is only worth $120 at best. Poulan 3314 is $119.95 at Wally World, new.

I just sold a brand new one to a neighbor for $100..

Thinning the herd I am.

Still have 1 that has a suspect Oiler..
Sometimes it works, sometimes it don’t..
Can’t find anything visibly wrong with it though.

Do you have anymore pics of the bark ? How does it smell ? The small glimpse of bark looks like Cherry & the heartwood looks to be going punky. I can’t dispute @plcnut or @Hinerman guesses. I have seen boxelder with reddish pink stains. I don’t have much experience with pines.
