Those generally sell for more than the dash consoles. Diesel or gas? I think they made gassers in the 4020’s but I maybe mistaken. It’s got a lot it weights hanging on the front end. I’ve never seen one with that many from weights.
I am thinking $10k - $12k will be asking price.

Not worth the time

Yeah, it doesn't appear to be a good heating wood.
I picked it up for Tammi's and my wood projects. I've also got a neighbor with an amazing wood shop that likes to turn bowls.
Here's a spalted hackberry bowl that he turned from a tree that I cut down in my yard.

It’s amazing how that locks a saw up. I thought the piston got stuck sideways it was so tight. What saw? Is that the 064? What kind of wood?
Bore cutting a juicy hackberry tree.
Using 24” of the 28” bar..
My fault.. but boy did it stick surprisingly quick.
064.

I think it’ll run. Gonna need serviced at minimum. My concern is seals being dried up.

A straight, good running 4020 will bring 12 grand easy enough, sometimes more, but after sitting that long, it’s an unknown.. so assume you gonna have to go completely through it. I hate machines that been sitting that long. Cuz ya just never know.

With that many weights on the front it had something heavy on the three-point would be my guess. A heavy drill or planter probably. Check the draft control shaft and seals and the bottom for wear. Common problem on the deers.

Yes came from a local farmer. So that makes sense.

064.

I was cutting hackberry last year around this time. I had 3 bar tips locked up when I left.

When I stuck the clutch sprocket it happened instantly when I hit the throttle coming out of a cut. I thought the piston locked up

I think the console models were made from 1968-1972. You could get Diesel, gas, or LP engines.
I still think that Deere would be afraid of how many 4020’s they would sell if they were to produce them again!

But a MS170/180 is only worth $120 at best. Poulan 3314 is $119.95 at Wally World, new.

$65 is all I'd pay at auction for an 017, the guy used 170 more, lil screwdriver confused operator? Estate auction

Had same thought on a Grand Marquis yesterday.. Auctioneer said it'd been sitting a couple years with nearly full tank!
I'm still in market for cavalier replacement lol

Somewhere in this [emoji2959][emoji2959][emoji2959][emoji2959] garage is a zip lock baggie with all my 9/16” rivets and tie straps.

Still looking. [emoji90]

Edit: Found ‘em. Under a pile of books.

Gain some room.
