Welcome, I myself run Jonsereds, dolmars and old Partners. Stihls are for trading:D:D. Owned a few sold them all but that was my intent when I bought them. They sell very well.

I like Dolmars too.

I was thinking of cutting some wood, if I was hiding in the timber it wouldn’t be bad but all of my stuff is out in the open. I don’t mind cold temps but the wind is non-starter for me. This temperature swing may make my sinuses start to revolt again

Before the temp was checked I posted that I'd be in the creek around 1 disfternon! 21° they say so plan may be modified:xmas2: Happy Merry y'all

At least, probably closer to 35 - 40 years seasoned. These burn the best.
I've heard rumors that the brand of logs you have get harder as they age. A hand full of sharpened loops on hand may help if that's tru. If it's really true a concrete drill some bullseye powder and fuse may help take care of cutting and splitting in one swell foop. lol
I like explosives and bonfires tho

I will cut it all to 16” lengths & probably only need to split 3-4 of the larger pieces. I always carry 3-4 chains, it is pretty hard but the embedded dirt is what is tough on the chains. It’s still worth dulling a few chains to get a nice pile of BTU’s like this one.

Merry Christmas everyone. Just dug out from the blizzard. Drifts were a couple feet across the driveway.
Hopefully everyone finds something to make them smile this season.

The image of you having to dig 2’ of snow out of your driveway makes me smile a little..
