026 is ready to start/run. Except, the 3M weatherstrip glue I have on the fuel tank vent needs a day to dry. [emoji20]

Got an 029 Super and a roached MS362 from Jack Horners. The 029 maybe an easy fix. Fuel line supposedly.

I'm really starting to wonder about these tests.

My stepdad tested positive. He has had stents, he is overweight, has diabetes, 68-69 yrs old. He was sick; fever, body ache, couldn't smell or taste... We took him to the hospital. Sent him home a week later and he has recovered.

Because he was sick we took my mom to get tested. Her health is poor. She has had multiple strokes, peripheral neuropathy, peripheral vascular disease, overweight, and is wheelchair bound. She tested positive so they kept her in the hospital and later sent her to a Nursing Home for covid patients. She never had a single symptom, not one, nada, nothing, zilch!!! It took almost 2 months to get 2 negative tests. Damndest thing I ever heard of.

My point, I wonder about the tests too Matt. Do they get federal funds for positive testing patients? Are the tests accurate to begin with? Are they detecting Covid from flu shots? Are they detecting the smallest amount possible that your body has already eradicated?

029 Super has a large crack by the oil fill. Leaks. [emoji2955]

Anyone have a 029/039 tub/chassis to get rid of?

MS362 is a non starter (literally !), roasted top end and missing recoil.

Got to the postage stamp last night about 8pm. After getting power turned on and some heat going I went to the shower house to see if the water tank had any rain water in it.
It was brim full. About 50 gallons.

About a month ago I got an old wall furnace from a gentleman local to me for the older camper down here. Natural gas model had to convert it to propane. Tested it and is working good. I'll install it next trip down but first to figure out the flue araingment.

Good morning!
Did a little traveling this week. Monday delivered a HD5500 medium duty cab and chassis to Clarksville, TN. Tuesday did a mechanical inspection in Waynesville, Wednesday tinkered in the shop, Thursday dealer traded an Infiniti to Tulsa, and Friday did two mechanical inspections in Republic and Joplin. A little busier than I wanted to be but I guess that's OK.

The 029 Super is a runner. [emoji6]

Fuel line, filter and a new oil cap squared it away. Cracked plastic by oil fill cap is inconsequential. [emoji2958]

Clean saw. Made 0006.

Not giving it ‘The Dip’.

As luck would have it has a .325” spur drum. [emoji108] Borrow the 18” from the 026 for test cuts.

Ben Canchola (prototype for ner do wells) came by with this.

And this box.

Box dates back to the 50’s. Cool

Which contained another 200t project carcass.

Should keep the geezer entertained a spell.

As a youngster I remember watching the truck deliver to the taverns in South St. Louis. Beer box rolls down the conveyor section into the basement. Small elevator under a trap door behind the bar to bring it up for the bartender.

Ran the new to me WM LT-30 today and milled some walnut. Now we need to get it all banded and on the shelf for drying. Much more to go but we made a dent. Started with the small stuff.

The one in the forefront is 16’ long. Mostly 9/4 true width boards.
