I lit the boiler yesterday. I was putting it off as long as I could, but don't need chilly kids.

I'm working in the bootheel the rest of the week.
Trying to finish a control system upgrade/retrofit.

Give me a holler if you get some down time. We are finally starting to slow down a bit. Worked over 27 days straight 10-12hr days. Was kinda nice for a reprieve.

When we came up through the Delta in Mississippi and Arkansas, they were round bales of cotton all over the place. They look like big Easter marshmallows pink and yellow. Saw them burning rice stubble too..

A month of strait work can wear on ya...
But it sure makes the checkbook happy..
I told Levi the other day to work more!! That way he’s too busy to spend money!!
He was grousing about getting back late every day.

I don't know anything about the rice this year.
I usually keep up with things a little better by visiting with the early-bird farmers at the local cafe. This year I haven't had time to even visit the cafe...
