Well now that was a bummer to open the door & see dry pavement. I must of heard the only few drops we got hit the window. Gauge had .008” in it, maybe we will get some today. The radar shows it splitting to the west of us.

Just can’t get myself to do Facebook.

If you don't friend anyone and let anyone else know you have an account it wouldn't be that bad. It's not like you have a bunch of my crybaby cousins on their blowing your feed up.

1.2” of rain in the past 24 hrs over the Blacksnake Hills.

And, Matt’s beans go dry. [emoji848]

Actually we are behind 3” for YTD.
Just had 12 or 15 minutes of rain, seems to be headed west. May not get to Carthage with any water left.

Good news on 2 fronts here:
1.) We got 1.48” of rain today but you would never know by looking there isn’t a puddle anywhere. Hopefully @Hedgerow gets some precipitation this week.

2.) Apparently my first attempt @ converting some round to square using the Simington wasn’t a total bust, cuts well, self feeds well, my top plate angle is pretty steep though, I think it needs to be blunter. With those thin top plate angles I doubt it will have much longevity though. @concretegrazer had a post in the Square grinder thread to use 80*, 10*, 0* on the round then square it.

A little too much forward lean on the side plate for most ppl. Looks good though!

Yes, there is that also, it cut well I was thrilled. Now I can start changing some things to make a better work chain.

I have been running 16 ply trailer tires. Original trailer tires lasted one year. These have been going 5 years. Need replaced next spring. Did have to change one under warranty. Tire was out of round. Oval shaped. Made truck shake.
