Good morning!
I was wanting an anvil stand for a long time so I cut one out of the center of the butt section of one of those large oak rounds. It has a 4° taper top to bottom.
The anvil has been in my family for over 50 years. My Dad knew the original owner and bought it at his farm auction. It has the original owner's name and "NOV 1899" stamped in by what looks like a chisel. It weighs 103 lbs.![]()
